Telehealth is Here!

​Open Arms Assisted Living will be the first assisted living community in Colorado to offer telehealth to all residents! Open Arms is working with BL Healthcare to bring health and wellness requirements using telehealth. A benefit to residing at OAAL is that each resident room is pre-configured with a smart TV and is set up with the necessary equipment to confidentially and securely have a video conference appointment with medical staff. Where required, a separate telehealth room with in Open Arms is set up to enjoy the same benefits of a video conference appointment separate from the resident’s private room. 

Truly the first of its kind, Open Arms Assisted Living is thinking ahead to meet the needs of it's residents. With all the uncertainty and addressing barriers to primary care- we know telehealth is the future of comprehensive care.

Telehealth for OAAL residents' welcome family caregiver's to have an active role in loved one's care. Enjoy participating on a video conference with the healthcare providers, whil not needing to travel to the provider's office.  This allows each family to stay in the loop and ask the important questions. Remote Patient Monitoring [RPM] is used to capture each resident daily vitals; giving the ability to deliver higher quality care. This digital technology will collect health care data and electronically transmit that information securely to health care providers in a different location for assessment and recommendations.  Telehealth brings peace of mind to both the caregiver and their loved one.
